Pointless? No way!

OK, so for the last two years, I've stunk at keeping up with this companion blog, both in posting and in principle. It's just that keeping up with one blog is hard enough - what with my kids, my business meetings, and my cliff-diving hobby - and a second blog is that much harder.

Even when I have completed some of the items on my list, I have forgotten to post it on this blog. For example, our trip to the Museum of Flight and the Banana Museum have been written up on my main blog here.

This past year, I also set some goals that were unreasonable in that they were longer term goals that needed more thought, patience, time, and/or money than I have at present.

This past year, I managed to complete 14 of the 31 goals I had set for myself. Some of the failures were due to laziness, some to forgetfulness, some to lack of funds.

This is a rallying point, though. I feel great when I can cross something off my to-do list, be it a daily chore list or a long-term set of goals.

Going forward, I am re-dedicating myself to this blog. In other words, I am re-dedicating myself to setting and achieving realistic yet exciting goals.

To the goals I had set for myself this past year, I have to give credit for what I accomplished, acknowledge what I didn't, and decide what to pass on to this next year. Well, not a year really, but the next nine months to my 32nd birthday.
